Purpose

To guide users on how to update vehicle or bike details such as Factory fitted option, Colour or Trim using the Local Options functionality in Autoline Vehicle Tracking.


When to Use This

Use this procedure when you need to amend locally fitted options on a vehicle or factory order record and standard amendment is not allowed via the normal Edit/Amend screen.


Steps to Update Local Options

  1. Open Local Options:

    • From the main menu, go to:
      Vehicle Tracking > Vehicle Availability > Local Options


  2. Search for the Vehicle:

    • Enter a search value such as Chassis Number, Case Number, or Dealer Reference.




  3. Select Option Type:

    • In the Option Type dropdown:

      • Type the first letter to filter options:

        • C for Colour

        • T for Trim

        • F for Factory-fitted options

      • The list of available local options will be displayed.

  4. Update the Option:

    • Tick the new option (e.g. select "NB5" for Black storm metallic ).

    • You can refer to the “Availability” column to confirm if the option is valid (✔).

  5. Save Changes:

    • Click Save and Exit on the toolbar or from the File menu.
