This development is to restrict the users who can amend the bank details on a PL account. Editing this fields was usually on the priority to add/modify the PL account but a more direct restriction was ask for in this case.

Setup

In CS | NZ | Purchase Ledger, go to System parameters you can turn on the restriction.

Once this is turned on, all users not selected will be restricted from changing the bank account details.

To give access, the user details in system utilities must be updated.

Now the user can amend the bank account on the pl account record.

In add/modify pl accounts, the payment details tab will look like this is the user does not have clearance to change the Bank account

Otherwise it will be this.
