This error may occur when loading a new stock into VSB. The error prevents the prices and possibly options to pull from the Franchise data for this variant.
Please note, this method below will only allow you to edit, should there be no costings added to the vehicle. You will notice that the above screen will allow you to edit should this be accessible for you.
There are a a few options to trouble shoot to clear this error.
- Check the price is loaded on this variant, you can check this via: Franchise Data, Build Specifications - ensure to check showing data based on date: is today's date.
- Drill down selection to your variant. This is done one the left hand side, by selecting your Franchise, Model and specific variant.
- On the Option Menu select "Factory Fitted Options"
- Check Price is listed on the "Price" Tab
If the price is not there, you can edit this and include this in, or also clicking into the price cell, this will add a $0 line. If you are unsure on the price, leaving this as a $0.00 is OK as the users will have to manually update the stock via VSB.
How to re pull price from Franchise Data:
(Ensuring the price is on the variant in Franchise Data as mentioned above, including the $0.00 line).
- In edit mode, select the Stock Number (In VSB).
- On identity tab, check status of the vehicle is Memo and Memo.
- On definition tab, change the current variant to any other variant once selected press tab, then reselect the correct variant and press tab again and this should now pull the prices file.
