ADL may send through a Franchise Data spreadsheet - process this as per usual via Franchise data. However, they may also include updating margins. This relates to the dealer margins and do not relate to Cost margin but rather to Sales Discount applicable to specific dealers. These discounts are set in the Discount Matrix and relate to Dealer Type/Sale Type and Model Variant Type.

Currently the Model / Variant Type: is H.
To locate the discount matrix - VT, Miscellaneous Options, Discount Matrix (Grid Edit). This is showing in grid view:
Based on the above table, the current variant is H which is currently sitting at 8% and ADL have requested to change this to 9%. To change this, we will need to amend the variant to E (as per the matrix). There maybe margin's that are not existing, and you will need to add this in, you can insert a row and add in the margin needed with a date. (Ensure you complete the other needed fields by scrolling right)
To check your changes have taken effect. You can view the variant in VT.
VT, Vehicle Availability:
Select the Franchise and drill down to the variant:
Once variant is selected, the options will show on the right hand side. View vehicles "At Sea" status.
All options will pop up, select any of the orders and "display vehicle"
The "Value" tab will show the newly changed margin %
