The KB will detail how to create, amend and delete collect/delivery bookings as well as how to review existing bookings and set company capacity for bookings. You will need access to POS, WL and CRM.
Create you WIP in POS as normal including the labour requirements
Click on the Workshop Launch Control Icon
Click on the Load button
The Workshop Load form is displayed along with the Collections grid.
Note: the values displayed in the collections grid represent the original capacity less any bookings already made.
To book a space select the Collect and / or Deliver row heading. Once selected they will be highlighted in Blue. Continue and book the WIP as normal.
When you go to save the WIP you will be prompted for the ‘Collection and Delivery Address’.
You can choose to enter a new address or use the Address Type drop down you can choose between Company or Customer record. You can also leave in dividual instructions in the Instructions box for example “pick up at the end of driveway”. To copy the details to the deliver fields just use the arrows.
Click on OK when completed.
Looking at the WIP you can see that there is a collect/deliver option booked with the description text displaying under the New Product field.
To remove a booking simply go back into workshop loading and and click on the blue highlighted row header to cancel.
Save the WIP.
Note: if you rebook the collect/deliver again you will be prompted for the address again.
You can also edit the collection and deliver address in Tools>Edit Collection delivery address option.
Note you can view all books as well as amend the collect/deliver capacities in CRM>Miscellaneous Options>Loan Vehicle Options>Collection and Deliveries.
To view bookings, you can simply scroll through the bookings grid and click on the values. The Details grid will populate with the bookings.
To amend your company capabilities, select the company from the POS Company dropdown. Click on Edit in the grid can now be amended to suit your business capacities.
Click on Save to commit the amendments.
