The POS Desktop is an easy-to-use general overview dashboard for your workshop. Information already available in other areas of Point of Sale are now centralized and displayed in one screen.
The Desktop allows operators insight into:
- Hours available per date
- Jobs planned or check-in
- Customers waiting
- Courtesy car requirements to name a few
This document provides Instructions for use of the POS Desktop functionality and is divided into three sections as follows:
- Activation
- Screen Overview

1. Activation
The POS Desktop Screen can be activated per terminal by ticking the “Use POS Desktop” checkbox located next to the Point-of-sale access field. Please ask your system administrator or the Systime Helpdesk to activate this for you.
2. POS Desktop Screen Overview.
The POS Desktop will be your landing page when you select your POS icon on the Main Autoline Desktop.
The normal POS screen will still be available by clicking New WIP at the top of the screen

The WIP results contained in the POS Desktop grid can be refined based on a combination of Selection Criteria per below :
Optional Features available:
- display vehicle description for Non Franchise vehicles
- display vehicle due in time
- display remaining labour time rather than original allowed time
- display to indicate if job card has been printed
