At times there may be a need to create a trade in on a vehicle directly from Vehicle stockbooks
In amend mode > Sales Brief > Ensure that you have your customer loaded in the Customer field
Once these detail
s have been inserted click on the Finance Details tab > Right click on the first cell under Trade in reference field and select 'Create Trade-in' . A a pop out menu will appear , giving you the option to create either from an existing vehicle (if you have already a used stock number but not printed the purchase invoice) or a New Vehicle if this has never been stocked into the system before:
Either complete the details manually or use the NZTA lookup . Once the Definition, Identity and Purchase brief details have been completed > Click on the Save Icon
