You may receive this error when entering the chassis number "CRM Vehicle variant code is not the same as on this VSB record" Cannot attach to this CRM Vehicle

This error message is advising you that there is already a CRM record that exists in the system and has different information to what you are currently creating.

In this example, we are creating this as variant code "CVAD" and receive this error message


Load the vehicle record in CRM  > Edit and decide if the CRM record is incorrect or the VSB stock record.

If it is the CRM record that has been created incorrectly, edit the CRM record and change the variant code to match the one you are creating in Vehicle Stockbooks ie : Change the variant code from "CVAV" to "CVAD".

Save the CRM record and you will be able to continue stocking the vehicle



If the Vehicle stockbooks is incorrect ,then change the definition tab to match CRM.
