When a WIP is opened in the point-of-sale, the following prompt appears, indicating that the WIP is being accessed by another user "WIP Locked by User ID xxx Terminal xxx"
When a WIP is locked and the associated User isn't actively working in the WIP, the unlocking operation may be performed by the aftersales service manager or parts manager.
When the unlock operation is completed, all unsaved operations made by the user who locked the WIP will be lost.
Unlock the WIP step:
1. Go to the point of sale and select "Point of Sale Tool" and select "Unlock WIP"
2. Enter the locked WIP number and press the "tab" button to activate "Check WIP" Click "Check WIP"
3. Under the "Current User" screen, select the user who needs to be kicked off.
Note: There may be more than one user record in the “current user” interface. Please confirm that the kicked user is the same as the locked user. Double-click the user record to complete the unlock operation.
