Dealers can update Customer records can be updated using an XML file using the same method used by the Autoplay Interface.

Autoline can use the CS / AK / CRM / Autoplay Daemon to process and download XML files.

The files can be downloaded using a Generic File transfer record.

The Daemon then processes these records from the ../xfer/Autoplay folder.

If the
<CustomerRef> - Autoline Customer Number - if not sent a new record will be created (not an existing record updated)
<CustomerId> - 3rd party Customer Number - used to map to Autoline Customer Number (If a file arrived with no Autoline Customer Number but Autoline had already Processed a file with the 3rd Party Customer Number - we would know to update the existing Autoline Customer (created from earlier file) not create a new Customer.
