Autoline Logs
Autoline stores a log of the most recent data sent to Microcat in ../home/MS/logs/
The first 2 characters are the MS company

Windows DMSi logs

C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Roaming\Infomedia\Infomedia DMSi\Logs

This will have the most recent log

If you search for the word FATAL

This may give some information on why the VIN isn't transferring to Microcat

2025-03-03 13:54:34,358 [DMS Message Processor] FATAL Infomedia.DMSIntegration.MMP.MessageUtils - ***** - Failed to parse message. Exception occurred:

I have multiple Microcat Parts Franchises

When you are setting up the connections in DMSi you will notice that each one requires a separate Port Number.
However they will all work over a single shared DMSi interface.
There is an exception to this. If one franchise requires a different delimiter - eg Hyundai NZ

I have clicked the EPC button and it shows No EPC files found

You have forgotten to change the MS company to the correct Franchise

Why do I always have to select the MS company - even when I have a vehicle loaded on the WIP

This is because the Vehicle Record does not have the MS company assigned.

As well as the vehicle being populated you will also need to not have a value on your POS Terminal Record Default RTS comp

If your dealership only deals with one Parts Franchise you could change the Default RTS company to be the 2 letter code of that Franchise
