The Broadcast Message form enables you to make an announcement such as, The printer is being repaired at 2:00pm today. The message is displayed in the Broadcast box at the top of all menus of each module until it is changed or set back to blank.
Note access to this option is restricted by user permissions.
The Broadcast Message is displayed when you go to System Utilities> MANAGEMENT MENU > Broadcast Message
Enter your message in the space provided
Using the Output radio button choose between a menu banner or a message to selected user(s).
To clear the message go back into the Broadcast Message screen and delete the text.
You can select an individual user using the selected users radio button.
Click on OK to select from a list of users currently on the system. Select the user and click on OK
The specific user will then be presented with a message box.
