Hyundai uploads Service Plan / Extended Warranty csv files in an FTP location.

Autoline developed a functionality that can import the file directly from the specified FTP location.  This can be added to the Timed Operations or run manually if required.

To run manually, go to MS/HY. Select Vehicle Alignment. Then select Vehicle Alignment Import. Select the company number

Click Import.  You can also tick Initialise vehicle file if you want it cleared before running the import again. In some cases (ex Ingham), the import of VINfile is also set-up so clicking Import will import the VINfile first then the Service Plan & Ext Warranty file.

The import will then read through all records and determine whether this is a service or warranty record. It will fill the appropriate import records.  Currently this is based on the second field on the import. If the value is the same against a given list of warranty codes, it will be treated as warranty, otherwise it is a service contract.

A log shows the number of records created from the import file and the number of records not updated.

The vehicle file can be viewed at any time by clicking the Vehicle File icon

Update CRM records

Once the user is ready, they can update the CRM, which will update appropriate fields on the CRM record with the new data.

For Isuzu and Renault, the reg no is provided in the import. Therefore, Autoline imports all lines to valdb file. When user update CRM records, the system only updates the records in CRM. The system doesn't add new vehicles to CRM if they don't exist.

To update CRM records, click on the Update CRM icon

The relevant fields in CRM vehicle are updated.
