There are instances where in a BMW customer would request to enable printing of a New vehicle ROD after consultation and authorisation from BMW. This can only be done when the used vehicle follows some criteria such as age of the vehicle and the mileage on the used vehicle are agreeable with the conditions set for ROD printing.
Inorder to achieve this there is a AGEEXTN field in the NZ.CS.bmwsi file, that needs to be edited to match the months mentioned by the model year of the used vehicle.
In the highlighted standard parameters - the vehicle regdate must be less 18 months or less from the Delivery Date
MAXAGE - 12 + AGEEXTN - 6 = 18 Months
So increasing the MAXAGE to 8 for example would allow the vehicle to be 20 months old.
Once the age matches, the system would give a option to print the New vehicle ROD on the used vehicle as seen below.
