Advice note receiving is done from the Autoline menu option;

Select required POS company if prompted and you will be in the advice note processing screen as shown below.
The process is automated so there is no need to import or convert the advice note.
Before you can receipt your goods into stock you have to “advise” purchase control that it is available. This is done by “linking” or “attaching” the GRN to the order.
There are several ways that this can be done.
- Right-click on a GRN in the list and select “Attach selected GRN to purchase control”
- Select “Attach selected GRN to purchase control” from the “I want to…” menu
- Click the single attach icon on the menu bar
Note : If the order was created in Purchase control there may be no need to attach the Advice note /GRN to an order number.
If this is the case you can simply click on Tools > Receive advised parts > “By GRN number” > Selected GRN and clicked on receive.
If there are no issues you will receive a message that this has updated successfully.
The parts and purchase control will update accordingly.
