How to run Suzuki Australia Parts Price File Update (SAS-6344)
The Suzuki price file is received in three separate text files which are fixed length. The user imports these three files into a single Excel spreadsheet using columns A to I (as per table below)
In the Spreadsheet:
- user recalculates columns D,E,F to get the correct price format and put that into columns J,K,L
- if column C is greater than 0, copy column B into column M as this is the first part number in the supersession
- add Column N which is the Group Code
- add Column O which is the Supplier Code
- add Column P which is the Saletype code
Before saving the file, ensure that no double quotes are around the text fields.
Save the file as comma delimited csv in C:\rev8work directory SUZPRC.csv.
