Sales Delivery Schedule(SDS) including user setup

The Sales Delivery Schedule allows you to view and monitor movement of a vehicle from delivery to the dealership through the PDI department, workshop until final delivery to the customer.

SETUP

Users are given access to the option by, CRM>System Maintenance->User Access Control

Select the correct user id, if individual user control is not set up for your CRM, amend the default record.

Choose My shortcuts from the dropdown and left click on Delivery Schedule to add this option for the user.



Operation

The option is located on the CRM "My Shortcuts" Icon

If a user has access to more than one showroom company, the user will need to select which Showroom company to look at.



SDS Form Layout



Application defaults to the current user, which you can change to a user or a Team from the drop down.



Change the date as per required




The user can view all non-delivered vehicles (default) or select the ‘Include Delivered’ check box, which will display not-delivered and delivered vehicles.



The data is divided into 4 main categories.

Quote Level , VSB Level , WIP Level and Delivery Level

Double clicking on the field will load the details.











Colour Codes

YELLOW :

The yellow indicator is used to show any part of information that is behind schedule or that has yet to be handled by the department responsible for the task.

GREEN :

The green indicator is only used with “Outside” and “Sublet” headers

The green represents a job that is to be completed by a 3rd party company where the dealership has given work to the 3rd party company, and the work has yet to be received or completed.

BLUE :

The blue represents a job or task that is on track or completed within the required time period.




Updating the delivery date:

  • Double click on the ‘Del Date’ cell
  • Today’s date is defaulted and may be changed
  • Update



If a vehicle has been handed over to the customer the vehicle can be removed from the list.

  • The user can "Right Click" on the "Del." Data cell.
  • The user will be prompted "Has customer received the vehicle?" This will remove the vehicle from the list.



  • The user can still view all non-delivered or delivered by using the "Include Delivered" check box in the "Search Key" area.
