Create Workshop Calendar for the next year

Each year the workshop calendar must be setup to allow bookings to be created and technicians to be able to clock on with in that period. The year itself needs to be created and then applied to each shift.

The calendar is setup from Workshop loading > Workshop calendar.

Select the year in the Select year drop down box and click on the Year button below the drop down. You will generally only see the previous, current and next year in the drop down box.

The calendar will open up showing all days as available in green.

To add in the statutory holidays, left click on the appropriate day/cell and the adjusted availability window will open up.

Select the availability reason from the drop down window and click on the red X. In the example below, the day is being set to a public holiday.

Click on Save.

Continue with the process above until all the holidays are added and click Done to complete the calendar.

Once the calendar is setup, it needs to be applied to each shift.

Select the shift from the Select shift drop down box and click on the Load shift button that you are setting the shift calendar for.

Select the days that the shift is applicable for and click OK.

Click on Save. The Wizard button can be clicked on to change the days the shift applies for.

Repeat this process for as many shifts that you have loaded to the technicians and advisors. (if applicable)
