Option to cancel the acceptance is not available
The option is grayed out with a message next to this as "Please set the trade-in(s) to M status in Vehicle Stockbooks. This will generate the necessary postings ".
To correct the trade-in status navigate as follows:
- Select Vehicle stockbooks from the Main menu
- Select Vehicle Administration
- Load the relevant stock number
- Select the Finance details tab
- Check the trade-in stock number under Trade-in details
- Load the trade-in stock record
- Change the Progress code and Account status to M and save the used vehicle record.
Once this has been done the option to cancel the acceptance will be available again.
