The profit sheet in Showroom can now be sent via email in a *.txt file format.

The functionality now exists to email the profit sheet in Showroom for Australian customers in addition to printing

SETUP

Please note that this setup is required for each individual login

There are two areas that need to be setup in order for this to work:

1. Ensure that the user has a valid email address entered on their GB.user record located in System Utilities>Management Menu>User Details:




2. Enable Email notification via Showroom>System Maintenance>Salesperson settings:




HOW TO EMAIL

  1. Access a showroom enquiry and select Edit>Profit Figures:
  2. Select Email



  1. The email address will default to the email entered into the GB.user ID as per setup step 1 above



  1. Press Send - the file will be sent via email with the subject containing the Stock Number and Customer Name. For Virtual deals, it will contain the Customer Name only. The file name will always be SR.PROFIT.txt
