If you want to remove a company record from the database, you can flag it for deletion and it will be permanently removed from the database at the end of the week.

There are two fields which need to be flagged for deletion.

In the Company tab in the Status field select DELETE COMPANY.




In the Additional details tab in the Deleted field select Marked for deletion.




Notes

Prior to a Company record being marked for deletion any links to a Customer(s) must be detached.

All forms of reference within the Details screen must be removed i.e. the Company name and Address fields must be cleared of input so that the record will not be found by a user before the consolidation process takes place.

It is a good idea to also type the word Delete in the Name field should a user attempt to identify the record prior to deletion taking place.
