Enhancement to remove the delivery date from the CRM vehicle record when a vehicle is privately sold.
In CRM when a vehicle is sold by the dealer, the delivery date is automatically entered. When the vehicle is sold again the delivery date didn't clear when the new customer was attached and manually needed to be removed. Users would forget to do this and the new owner would receive the sales follow-up letters.
There is a new enhancement in Autoline to cater for this scenario. When a used vehicle record is created and the vehicle exits in CRM and contains a delivery date, when you save the vehicle record it will ask you to check the owner of the vehicle. If the owner has changed, it will clear the delivery date.
If No is selected, the delivery date is removed from the CRM vehicle record:
Similarly, if the Sales/Aftersales or Driver is changed on the vehicle CRM record, when you save the record, you will receive the following prompt. If you select Yes the delivery date will be removed:
Please note: If the vehicle is company owned and the new owner (customer) is linked to the same company record as the old owner then it won't ask the question and won't clear the delivery date.
