To complete a demo booking, you must check whether the vehicle has been booked via demo bookings or via a WIP in Point of Sale.

To check this:

  • Select CRM from the Master Menu
  • Select My Desktop
  • Click on the Vehicle icon on the left of the page
  • Enter the registration number into the search and press return - this will locate the vehicle
  • Select the vehicle and then the Load button
  • Make a note of the vehicle record number (MAGIC) which will be displayed on the bottom left hand side of the page


  • You should then run an adhoc report to give you the correct details of any outstanding bookings:

    • Select CRM from the Master Menu
    • Select Reports & enquiries from the CRM menu
    • Select Enquiries menu
    • Select Ad-hoc enquiries
    • Select Demo vehicle transactions from the available file list
    • Formulate your query as exampled below
  • DATEIN DATEDUE DELDATE MAGIC WIPNO VEHMAGIC

    IF VEHMAGIC = #####(enter the vehicle MAGIC number)




This will return any demo bookings for this vehicle record. If the booking has a WIP number, it must be completed or cancelled through the WIP in Point of Sale, if this has a booking in MK Demo bookings then this will also need to be completed.
