To complete a demo booking, you must check whether the vehicle has been booked via demo bookings or via a WIP in Point of Sale.
To check this:
- Select CRM from the Master Menu
- Select My Desktop
- Click on the Vehicle icon on the left of the page
- Enter the registration number into the search and press return - this will locate the vehicle
- Select the vehicle and then the Load button
- Make a note of the vehicle record number (MAGIC) which will be displayed on the bottom left hand side of the page
You should then run an adhoc report to give you the correct details of any outstanding bookings:
- Select CRM from the Master Menu
- Select Reports & enquiries from the CRM menu
- Select Enquiries menu
- Select Ad-hoc enquiries
- Select Demo vehicle transactions from the available file list
- Formulate your query as exampled below
DATEIN DATEDUE DELDATE MAGIC WIPNO VEHMAGIC
IF VEHMAGIC = #####(enter the vehicle MAGIC number)
This will return any demo bookings for this vehicle record. If the booking has a WIP number, it must be completed or cancelled through the WIP in Point of Sale, if this has a booking in MK Demo bookings then this will also need to be completed.
