Which modules need to be locked for the Nominal Ledger (NL) Period to be advanced?

 

Preventing access while advancing the NL Period

The user advancing the Nominal Ledger must prevent access to the following relevant modules/company numbers:

SL - Sales Ledger

PL - Purchase Ledger

NL - Nominal Ledger

AR - Asset Register

AJ - Accruals

MS - Manufacturing Systems, MS - if using Purchase Invoice verification i.e. paperless invoicing

If divisionalised all divisions, i.e. the above linked modules, within that Nominal Ledger.

These are all modules where daybooks can be printed live.
